We all have the tendency to focus on self, but I think the vast majority of us, at some point recognize the error of our ways, and change it up. I have been privy to many situations where focus on other , especially in times of crisis, has been apparent, and indeed awe inspiring.brTo me, othercenteredness is the answer to pretty much all of our woes. When we get the focus off ourselveswe are ultimately freeand distracted, at best which is best for release of our own problems and also for meeting the needs of others. brI believe, then, to answer your question, that the One word to describe humans is IMPERFECT. brWe are imperfect, so that we can grow, which is what we are here to ultimately doto fulfill a destiny we signed up for, which is a quotlittle by little, one step at a timequot progression.br of us are selfish at one time or another, but it is because we are imperfect.
